Jonathan Hauser Price - Hailey's primary program part

A couple of months ago Hailey gave a talk on important it is for families to have prayer. For the primary program in November they asked her to give her talk again. Here is a condensed version:
"For the past 5 months our family has been saying many prayers for our cousin, Jonathan Price. We have prayed for the doctors that help him, we have prayed that Jonathan will be healthy, we prayed that he will be comfortable, we have prayed for peace and comfort, and we have prayed telling Heavenly Father we thankful for our families and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
When Jonathan had his last surgery we went up to the hospital to visit him. Even though he was very swollen, he recognized my voice and smiled. I knew then that Heavenly Father had been listening to all the prayers our family has been saying."

More Sunday dinners...it seems like this is all we do!

Michelle, Mom, Grandpa Price, Grandma Price, and Stephen eating Sunday dinner. It was fun having so much family in town and being all together.
Sydney chasing after a red balloon.
I think this is the same Sunday dinner where I celebrated by 25th birthday. :)
Everyone stretching out after filling ourselves up with good food. Kathryn, Jordan, Whitney, Jackson, Emily, and Tyler.

Tyler's birthday!!!

It's hard to believe but Tyler turned 16 in June! I don't know where the time went but I do know it has gone by fast!
The first Sunday of every month the Barnes, Price, and Snow families get together for family dinner and celebrate any birthdays for that month. Since the Prices were "living" at Scottish Rite Hospital during the month of June, we had our family/birthday/Sunday dinner there. Here are Sydney, Whitney, and Hailey.
Here is the whole crew in the break room where we had pulled pork sandwiches, Doritos, and cupcakes! Good memories!

We all got together on Sunday afternoon after church to help Stephen celebrate his birthday.
There goes Whitney in the white and blue chasing the other girl down.
Hailey up to bat during her softball game.
Tyler #34 playing spring football - 5 months after having his ACL replaced. It was fun to see him play again.

3rd annual Snow/Barnes/Price Easter Egg Hunt

We have a great tradition going on here in Georgia - our annual Easter Egg Hunt at Stephen and Amber's house. They hide lots of eggs and give away great prizes!
Tyler and his purple basket .
Ok...I love all my neices and nephew but I must admit Jordan has me wrapped around her finger. What ever Jordan wants Aunt Erin will do!!
Of course Sydney had to be gathering eggs just like everyone else. She had a basket in one hand and an egg in the other and took off! She is too cute!!
All the kids with their eggs and candy - I know Grandma Snow is saying, "I wish I was there!" and we wish she and Grandpa and Kathryn were there too!!

Good times with the Chaces

Waiting on the stairs to see what the Easter Bunny brought everyone.
The Easter Bunny sure is a smart guy! He knew that everyone would love a can of silly string in their Easter baskets.
While hiking we saw this tree and I insisted on a group photo - one day you'll thank me Tyler.
Hiking along the trail with the kids following Mark and Casey.
Annie captured everyone's attention with her great story about Hermie the Wormie!!

Coloring Easter eggs

Here's the crew coloring eggs - Parker, Whitney, Jacob, Hailey, Sarah, Lizzy, and Tyler
It's very serious business getting your eggs to look beautiful.
More decorating...
Parker, Whitney, and Jacob working together on their eggs.

How high can you jump??

Another fun activity we did while in Kentucky was to go bungee jumping. Here is Whitney doing a flip.
Hailey just finishing her flip.
Tyler wasn't allowed to bungee jump with his knee so he got to do the next best thing - play video games. I think he and Casey could easily go through $20 worth of quarters playing games and still want to play more.
Of course Casey picks the police games....

Cave Explorations

Besides seeing the Chaces, the highlight of our trip was exploring a couple of caves. The first cave we went in was with a tour guide. It was pretty cool.
Here we are at the entrance of the first cave that we went in.
Another cave that we explored was NOT with a tour guide (unless you count Mark and Casey) and there were no lights except for your flashlight. Hailey and I got about 20 minutes in when Hailey noticed some bats on the ceiling of the cave. She refused to go another step so we left and let the others continue on. They had to crawl on their hands and knees in some parts and had to squeeze in between rocks. They finally came out when the bats starting flying to close to their heads. This picture is in front of the cave entrance.

Back at the ranch...

Here we are all after our hour ride through some beautiful Kentucky country side. The weather couldn't of been more perfect and the scenery was incredible.
The Barnes Family
The Chace Family minus Jacob (he was too young to go with us)

Horseback riding

One of the highlights of our trip to Kentucky was to go horseback riding with the Chaces. We all rode a horse that seemed to fit our own personalities. Hailey got to ride on Oreo.
Whitney riding her horse - Wally.
Tyler first words as his horse, Altlas was being led into the corral - "Woah! Slow down!"
I was riding "Captain" - how appropriate since I've been told a time or two that I'm bossy.
Casey rode the biggest horse I have ever seen - Little Jake.
